An approved private club can be opened by its direct link, but is not listed in search. Joining requires the owner's approval. Member identities are not public.

Separate per-membership consent with timestamp and version; defaults off. Enabling requires an approved profile and active membership. A pending profile may disable it. Leaving or blocking the club clears consent; rejoining does not restore it. The response reports only the viewer's own directory choice.
